Associate Warehouse Specialist
A Day in Your Life at MKS:
The Associate Warehouse Specialist is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through data analysis, inventory reporting, audit compliance, and Material Review Board (MRB) activities. This role serves as the key liaison between the warehouse and cross-functional teams by ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
You Will Make an Impact by:
- Warehouse Data & Reporting
- Extract, compile, and analyze warehouse data from ERP/WMS systems to support operational decision-making.
- Monitor inventory accuracy by identifying, investigating, and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare, update and maintain warehouse performance reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve warehouse performance and inventory management.
- Audit & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain documentation for internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Ensure warehouse records and inventory transactions are complete, accurate, and audit ready.
- Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities by tracking and following up on action items.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Material Review Board (MRB) Support
- Represent the Logistics department during MRB disposition meetings.
- Review inventory status and material availability to support disposition decisions (rework, return, use-as-is, scrap, etc.).
- Coordinate inventory transactions and material movement following approved MRB dispositions.
- Monitor and ensure timely execution of all logistics activities related to MRB processes within LMW environment.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering and Customs teams to resolve material disposition issues.
- Maintain complete records of non-conforming materials and disposition approvals for audit readiness
- Prepare scrap reports and reconciliation records for audit purposes.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, reporting, and inventory accuracy.
- Support the implementation of process improvements, standard work, and best practices.
- Participate in Lean, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in developing reports and tools that improve operational visibility and efficiency.
Skills You Bring:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills and relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Required Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, charts, and basic data analysis).
- Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data handling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse processes, and audit documentation practices.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement methodologies, Customs and LMW regulations is an added advantage.
