Job Title: Associate Manager, Physical Security - Bangalore Tower

The Experience

The Global Safety & Security organization is charged with protecting the people, brand, business operations and property of Salesforce by delivering trusted, innovative and scalable safety and security programs. To accomplish this mission, we are seeking a Physical Security Associate Manager (Bangalore). This position will report to the Manager of Security Operations (India) and be responsible for the execution of the Security Operations programs in India in partnership with our key stakeholders. Position requires local, onsite presence in our Bangalore office, with a primary responsibility for Salesforce Offices at multiple locations

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

Manage the Physical Security Operations and engagement programs in India. This includes:

Compliance, Security audits and event support

  • Oversee daily security operations across assigned Bangalore locations, including guarding, access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident response.
  • Manage and mentor on-site security supervisors/guard force personnel and third-party security vendors.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents (physical safety, badge/access issues, health & safety concerns) and ensure proper case documentation and escalation.
  • Conduct regular site security assessments/audits and drive remediation of identified gaps.
  • Track and report on security KPIs/SLAs; prepare operational reports for leadership.
  • Partner with Facilities, ES, IT, and Legal on investigations, workplace violence prevention, and travel security matters.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal security policies/standards.
  • Support badge access administration, visitor management, and physical security technology (CCTV, access control systems).
  • Deliver security awareness training and drills for employees.
  • Technology knowledge for Tableau dashboards and case management
  • Collaborate with GS&S internal teams 
  • Should be willing to travel across India 
  • Stakeholder engagement (REWS/ES/Campus security)
  • Knowledge on emergency and crisis response 
  • Understanding of Executive Protection 
  • Liaisoning with Building management and building security 
  • Serve in an on call rotation to manage on site security incidents.
  • Develop, coordinate and facilitate Security training and engagement for India employees.
  • Understanding of Executive protection for India travels
  • Deliver New Hire GS&S Onboarding Training for India employees.
  • Provide Security guidance for all on and off campus events, including large-scale events hosted in Salesforce Bangalore 
  • Monitor and respond to emerging security threats, provide timely guidance to employees and leaders as needed.
  • Serve as the centerpiece of Security Operations for employee engagement programs, in India. 

You’re Our Person If…

  • 8-10 years of experience in corporate/physical security operations, a multinational or tech environment
  • Experience working with local police and emergency services
  • Experience managing security vendors/guard force and leading a team.- leaders pov
  • Technology knowledge for Tableau dashboards and case management
  • Strong knowledge of Indian security regulations, labor laws applicable to security personnel, and law enforcement liaison practices.
  • Experience with incident/case management systems 
  • Excellent communication, crisis management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.

Even Better If…

  • Certifications such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with global security programs and cross-regional collaboration.
  • Background in law enforcement, military, or corporate investigations.
