In the area of inbound transportation on the Gigafactory Berlin import team, based in Grünheide, you will be involved in all aspects of inbound logistics. This includes the operational management of international and domestic transportation, supporting the production and ramp of the Gigafactory Berlin Brandenburg, as well as optimizing Tesla’s global transport network.

Responsibilities

  • Operational and tactical responsibility for planning and managing transportation for direct materials
  • Maintaining relationships with transport partners and improve the KPIs
  • Ensuring excellent service for all stakeholders throughout the entire transport process, including prompt handling of inquiries and problem resolution
  • Working with, maintaining, and further developing functions within the Transport Management System (TMS)
  • Supporting tender processes and onboarding of carriers
  • Performing administrative tasks related to transportation (providing legally required documents, resolving billing issues)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Logistics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL
  • Ability to work in an international, dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of general freight forwarding terms and standards, as well as Incoterms
  • Ideally, experience and qualifications in ADR/IMDG and customs processes
  • Language skills: English required, German is an advantage
  • Driver's license
