Description

The Finished Vehicle Network team is responsible for designing, maintaining & continuously optimizing the distribution of our vehicles across EMEA, ensuring both operational & cost efficiency.

As the production of new vehicles increases and production profiles of the different factories change, the network needs to be constantly updated to ensure on time delivery of new vehicles, at the required quality and service levels and the lowest cost possible.

The Network Specialist ensures that all inputs are analysed and understood, then translates these into the most optimal network design possible, including the determination of ports, transport modes and shipping lanes to be used at any given time. That also includes tracking performance of our suppliers, spotting inefficiencies, and collaborating with them to work on an improvement plan.

In addition, the Network Specialist collaborates with Operations, Procurement, Business Planning, Demand Planning, IT, Finance and Trade departments to contract the suppliers required to fill the network with capacity.
