We at Gigafactory Berlin Design and Construction are looking for a Construction Manager to join an energetic and vibrant environment. In this role, your main responsibility is to coordinate ensure with all stakeholders that the construction project is successful from concept to completion - Through your work, you will play a crucial role in helping clients and stakeholders. 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, monitor, and manage on-site structural fire protection and fire protection systems from concept through completion, ensuring quality and timely execution.
  • Contribute to technical design and project scope definition, and resolve issues during planning, construction, equipment installation, and commissioning, including temporary solutions.
  • Act as the interface among Engineering, Commissioning, Manufacturing, Production, Facility Management, Procurement, QA/QC, and Project Controlling to define requirements, quality standards, drawings, site installations, scope, tendering, handover, and close-out.
  • Deliver project goals for safety, scope, schedule, and budget in line with forecast and program requirements.
  • Prepare the scope of services, support the tendering process, and review bids based on experience, cost, and schedule.
  • Collaborate with facility teams to define and hand over responsibilities upon completion of work.
  • Build project-requirement databases to optimize design, construction, and checking processes.
  • Work on multiple projects and areas at the same time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Project management/ Engineering informatics, or evidence of exceptional ability 
  • Experience with AI Tools & Workflow, CAD 2D/3D, MS Office 
  • Excellent communication skills, both German and English 
  • Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.
