YOUR ROLE
Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on ion implant equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and execute timely recovery actions to minimize production downtime.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, RF, and control system issues.
- Escalate critical equipment issues to Equipment Engineers, Vendors, or Management when necessary.
- Support equipment installation, qualification, and commissioning activities.
Shift Engineering Support
- Provide 24/7 shift coverage support for production operations.
- Monitor equipment performance and respond to production interruptions.
- Ensure equipment meets uptime, utilization, and reliability targets.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Industrial Engineering teams to achieve production goals.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze equipment downtime, repeat failures, and reliability concerns.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and productivity.
- Support defect reduction and yield improvement initiatives.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment logs.
- Update troubleshooting guides, maintenance procedures, and standardized work instructions.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate equipment status during shift handovers.
- Ensure compliance with document control requirements.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all semiconductor fab safety policies and procedures.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, chemical safety, radiation safety, and cleanroom protocols.
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with EHS and quality management requirements.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Semiconductor Technology or related engineering discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance is preferred.
- Experience with ion implantation equipment is highly desirable.
- Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude may be considered.
- Knowledge of:
- Ion Implant systems
- High Vacuum Systems
- RF Power Systems
- PLC and Control Systems
- Robotics and Automation
- Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting
- Preventive Maintenance Practices
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with SPC, FDC, and semiconductor manufacturing systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently under shift conditions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong customer support focus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Rotating shift schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Cleanroom working environment.
- May require handling of specialized semiconductor tools and equipment.
- Willingness to support emergency equipment recovery activities when required.
