Join Keysight’s manufacturing team in Holmdel, New Jersey, as an Assembler working on electromechanical builds that bring together printed circuit board assemblies, cable and wire harnesses, mechanical enclosures, power supplies, and related subassemblies.

In this onsite, first-shift role, you’ll use your hands-on assembly experience, attention to quality, and practical judgment to work through build challenges with your team. If you take pride in precise work and enjoy seeing how the pieces fit together, we’d like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on electromechanical assembly and related manufacturing operations for Keysight products. Depending on production needs, assignments may include materials handling, manufacturing process and production support, routine testing and rework, quality inspection, and training other Manufacturing Operations Support employees.

  • Build and support product assemblies involving printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), wire harnesses and cable assemblies, mechanical enclosures and chassis, power supplies, and related subassemblies.
  • Use bills of materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, schematics, manufacturing routings, and work instructions to plan and complete assigned work.
  • Handle and coordinate components and materials for production, supporting inventory accuracy and related activities as assigned.
  • Perform or support routine testing, rework, and inspection of assemblies; identify and document quality issues in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
  • Enter production or inventory data into, and retrieve information from, the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system as needed.
  • Determine approaches to assignments, exercise judgment in planning work, and solve manufacturing problems of varying scope and complexity.
  • Share knowledge and provide training to other Manufacturing Operations Support employees as needed.
Qualifications
  • Higher education, specialized training, or certification may be helpful; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Typically, three years of relevant assembly experience, including at least one year of hands-on electro-mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with one to two years of strong, directly relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Experience with complex product builds involving printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), wire harnesses and cable assemblies, mechanical enclosures and chassis, power supplies, and related subassemblies.
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, schematics, manufacturing routings, and work instructions.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, work with others, and adapt to priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Quality and compliance experience, including knowledge of and adherence to industry and company quality standards: IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies), IPC-A-620 (Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies), and ISO quality management processes and procedures.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP and inventory management, including Work in Process (WIP) discrete job processing, component issuing through push and backflush transactions, assembly completions, WIP job closures, and inventory transactions.

Pay Transparency

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education, and skills. Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

New Jersey Pay Range: Minimum $43,470 – Maximum $72,450
