The team specializes in aerodynamics, turbomachinery, heat transfer, Multiphysics, GPU-enabled simulation, multiphase flows, and workflow automation.

You Are

You are an experienced CFD engineer with strong expertise in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and simulation technologies. You are passionate about solving complex engineering problems and enjoy working directly with customers to understand their challenges and deliver impactful solutions. You have the technical depth to analyze sophisticated engineering applications and the communication skills to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences, including engineers, managers, and executive stakeholders.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy learning new physics domains, and are motivated by helping customers innovate faster. You have a consultative mindset and can effectively bridge the gap between customer requirements and product development teams. In addition to technical excellence, you are a team player who is eager to share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the continuous growth of the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide advanced CFD technical expertise to customers and channel partners, ensuring timely and high-quality support.
  • Engage with strategic customer accounts to understand engineering challenges and deliver simulation-based solutions throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Conduct technical demonstrations, workshops, and customer training sessions on Ansys CFD products and workflows.
  • Scope and deliver professional services projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Capture customer requirements, industry trends, and application needs and communicate them to product development teams.
  • Validate and test new software features and releases using real-world industrial use cases.
  • Develop and share technical best practices, solution workflows, technical content, and knowledge resources while mentoring team members.

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience; or
  • PhD in a related discipline with 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong background in:
    • Aerodynamics
    • Acoustics
    • Turbulent flows
    • Conjugate heat transfer
  • Experience using CFD simulation tools, preferably Ansys Fluent, Meshing, Discovery, and Workbench.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and customer-facing communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with fluid-structure interaction (FSI).
  • Knowledge of reduced-order models and digital twin technologies.
  • Experience in process integration and design optimization.
  • Programming experience with Python, C, or C++.
  • Prior experience supporting engineering customers in a consulting, application engineering, or technical support environment.
