Product engineer for EDA tool, within a dynamic, fast-growing EDA Company. The company's customers include global electronics leaders in mobile telephony (smartphones, etc.). Your experience in microelectronic design will allow you to fully thrive in this position and bring your vision to the evolution of the company's tools. You will contribute both to the evolution and development EDA software solution and to the technical support and guidance of the users of our software tools for future generations of smartphones, autonomous vehicles, laptops, etc. The product engineer will also promote and present Siemens EDA software offering through presentations, international trade shows, and visits to customers and prospects.He/she will take part in the entire customer lifecycle, from the first contact to after-sales support, including the follow-up of evaluations. Candidate profile To best carry out the missions of this position, we are looking for an engineer with an engineering school degree, a Master's degree or a PhD in microelectronics, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in ASIC front-end design or in EDA, and with the following technical skills:
- Proficiency in UNIX / Linux environments.
- Proficiency in scripting: Tcl and Python.
- Very good knowledge of RTL languages: Verilog, VHDL and SystemVerilog.
- Knowledge of so-called collateral languages: IP-XACT, UPF, SDC, LEF/DEF
- Very good knowledge of front-end ASIC design tools: SoC design integration, synthesis tools, verification including simulation, timing constraints management, etc.
- Knowledge of back-end design would be a plus
- Good analytical problem-solving skills
- Very good communication skills (spoken and written), especially in English
