The Wallet, Payments, and Commerce team is dedicated to delivering a suite of services and platforms that allow users to easily, privately, securely, and responsibly digitize their wallet. Leveraging our main frameworks, Apple Pay (for payments), Apple Wallet (for a wide range of other wallet style functionality), our partners can offer simple, private, and secure experiences that build on our goals to safeguard our users' information and to protect their financial health.
Description
Based in Tokyo, this role will focus on the execution of operational tasks across the whole stack of Apple Pay and Apple Wallet services, including transit, in-store and online payments, identity programs and more.

Responsibilities
- Support execution of Apple Pay business operations in Japan and Korea, including launch readiness support, testing coordination, billing processing, and reporting
- Track and maintain key performance metrics and business trends; prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to support team decision-making
- Monitor and maintain data accuracy across operational systems and internal tools
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support partner onboarding and resolve day-to-day operational issues in a timely manner
- Build and maintain tools and processes that improve efficiency of day-to-day operations
- Prepare materials and data inputs for internal and external business meetings and periodic business reviews
- Identify and escalate operational risks or anomalies to the appropriate team members
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
- Fluent oral and written communication and presentation skills in both Japanese and English
- 3+ years of professional experience in operations, financial services, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to task management
- Proficiency in data processing and workflow automation
- Solid interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with guidance from the team
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Korean
- Experience in payments, fintech, or financial services operations
- Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or similar data tools
- Experience supporting external partner relationships or issue resolution workflows
- Curiosity and creativity in analyzing processes and identifying improvements to accommodate business needs
