Within the Intelligent Devices Group (IDG), the Asia Pacific Channel Strategy & Sales team partners with country channel organizations to accelerate growth, strengthen partner ecosystems, and improve route-to-market effectiveness across the region.
Role Summary
The AP Channel Strategy & Sales Lead is responsible for shaping and executing the channel growth strategy for Lenovo's Intelligent Devices Group across Asia Pacific. This role drives partner-led revenue growth, channel coverage expansion, SMB and mid-market acceleration, and strategic reseller development by working closely with country channel leaders, sales teams, distributors, and ecosystem partners.
The successful candidate will combine channel strategy, route-to-market planning, partner enablement, sales execution, and business analytics to translate regional objectives into measurable business outcomes across key markets including Japan, India, ANZ, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute AP channel strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market coverage, and strengthen Lenovo's partner ecosystem across the region.
- Define and optimize route-to-market (RTM) strategies by assessing market opportunities, partner coverage, customer segments, and growth priorities.
- Lead partner segmentation and coverage planning through the RAD framework, identifying priority partners, coverage gaps, and targeted growth actions.
- Drive SMB and mid-market growth initiatives in collaboration with country channel, sales, and commercial teams to accelerate customer acquisition and partner productivity.
- Scale strategic reseller and value partner programs by establishing performance metrics, growth plans, and engagement models that improve partner effectiveness.
- Design and deploy partner enablement programs, including sales tools, training, communications, incentives, and go-to-market resources that improve partner readiness and execution.
- Lead regional business planning and performance management, tracking channel revenue, market share, partner contribution, program effectiveness, and growth initiatives.
- Provide strategic insights and execution guidance to leadership teams by leveraging market intelligence, partner analytics, and industry trends to support business decisions.
Skills & Experience
Must-Have
- Significant experience in channel strategy, channel sales, route-to-market planning, partner management, or business development within the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of the PC, devices, or technology hardware ecosystem and partner sales models.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing regional channel growth strategies across multiple markets.
- Experience working with distributors, resellers, strategic partners, and indirect sales channels.
- Strong analytical and business planning capabilities with the ability to convert data and insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing sales, marketing, operations, finance, and country leadership teams.
- Strong program management and execution skills, including enablement, communications, and change management initiatives.
Good-to-Have
- Asia Pacific regional experience within a technology vendor, distributor, or channel-focused organization.
- Experience managing partner programs, incentives, coverage models, and channel transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to digital transformation, process redesign, CRM, analytics, or sales enablement platforms.
- Experience supporting both consumer and commercial business segments across indirect routes-to-market.

The ideal candidate combines the strategic thinking of a channel planner with the commercial mindset of a sales leader. They are comfortable developing regional growth strategies while also driving execution through country teams and partners. The individual should have a strong hardware-led channel background, understand partner economics, and be able to influence senior stakeholders across Asia Pacific.
