About Our Team
The Lenovo AI Ecosystem Group is a newly formed organization targeted at transforming Lenovo’s AI product offerings into a world class AI ecosystem environment that will make Lenovo the IT provider of choice for customers.
The Strategy Manager will focus on driving forward-looking AI strategic planning and industry insights, fostering collaboration with product teams.
What You'll Do
AI Strategy & Planning
- Monitor emerging AI technologies, industry developments, competitive landscape, and best practices to identify future trends and growth opportunities.
- Support the development and execution of AI strategies and long-term roadmaps aligned with business priorities, customer needs, and market dynamics.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities for AI innovation.
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and assess their potential business impact and applicability.
AI Innovation & Opportunity Identification
- Identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases that drive business growth, operational efficiency, and customer experience improvements.
- Explore opportunities to leverage Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, and other advanced AI technologies across products and services.
- Develop business cases and strategic recommendations for AI investments and initiatives.
- Help build differentiated AI capabilities that create sustainable competitive advantages.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with product managers, engineers, designers, researchers, and business stakeholders to translate AI strategy into execution plans.
- Drive alignment across teams to ensure successful delivery of AI-related initiatives and programs.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops to identify business challenges and AI-enabled solutions.
- Track progress of strategic AI initiatives and measure business impact against defined success metrics.
Customer & Market Insights
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback, market trends, and industry insights to inform AI strategy decisions.
- Identify unmet customer needs and emerging market opportunities that can be addressed through AI innovation.
- Translate strategic insights into actionable recommendations for product and business leaders.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, product strategy, technology strategy, innovation, or AI-related roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, market trends, and the evolving AI ecosystem.
- Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is 152,000–233,105 USD. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
