Description and Requirements

About Our Team

We are seeking an AI Product Manager - Enterprise AI to help define and deliver AI solutions that solve meaningful problems for businesses, IT organizations, and enterprise users. In this role, you will own key enterprise AI products and experiences from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization, partnering closely with engineering, design, research, product planning, strategy, business development, and enterprise customers.

You will combine strong product judgment with a practical understanding of AI technologies and enterprise requirements. You will translate customer and business needs into differentiated AI solutions while balancing usability, technical feasibility, security, privacy, governance, reliability, integration, and measurable business value.

Location: Chicago, IL. Candidates should be able to work collaboratively with the Chicago-based team and global Lenovo teams.

This role is hybrid. 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

What You'll Do

  • Own product strategy, roadmap, requirements, and execution for enterprise AI products and experiences, from discovery and validation through launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Engage with enterprise customers, IT leaders, business stakeholders, and internal teams to understand workflows, pain points, adoption barriers, and high-value opportunities for AI.
  • Identify where generative AI, large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, automation, and other AI capabilities can create measurable business value.
  • Translate customer needs and business objectives into clear product requirements, user journeys, success metrics, prioritization frameworks, and launch plans.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, data science, AI/ML, security, privacy, legal, and operations teams to deliver high-quality enterprise experiences.
  • Work with enterprise architecture and IT stakeholders to address integration, identity, access controls, data connectivity, deployment models, reliability, observability, and manageability requirements.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, models, tools, and platforms and determine when to build, partner, or integrate to accelerate product delivery and differentiation.
  • Develop business cases that connect AI capabilities to measurable outcomes such as productivity, efficiency, cost reduction, employee experience, customer experience, or revenue growth.
  • Use customer research, competitive intelligence, product analytics, experiments, pilots, and feedback loops to validate hypotheses and continuously improve the product.
  • Define adoption and business KPIs, establish product operating rhythms, and communicate product performance, tradeoffs, risks, and roadmap decisions to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with strategy, sales, business development, and partner teams to shape go-to-market motions, customer pilots, ecosystem partnerships, and scalable enterprise offerings.
  • Stay current on the rapidly evolving enterprise AI landscape and bring practical, differentiated ideas into Lenovo's product roadmap.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of Product Management experience delivering software, digital, AI, platform, or technology products.
  • Experience owning products or major product features from concept through launch and ongoing iteration.
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering, design, technical, and business teams to deliver products for business or enterprise users.
  • Experience translating customer problems and complex technical capabilities into clear product requirements and compelling user experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building or launching enterprise AI, SaaS, workflow automation, productivity, analytics, developer, or IT products.
  • Experience working with generative AI, large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, copilots, or multimodal AI.
  • Understanding of enterprise AI requirements including security, privacy, responsible AI, governance, data residency, compliance, identity, access control, and model risk.
  • Experience with enterprise buying processes and stakeholders, including CIO, CTO, IT, security, data, operations, and business-function leaders.
  • Experience integrating products with enterprise systems, APIs, cloud services, data platforms, identity providers, or device-management environments.
  • Experience defining product experiments, pilots, customer proofs of concept, and adoption strategies that translate into scalable products.
  • Strong understanding of AI product lifecycle considerations including model evaluation, quality, latency, cost, observability, reliability, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Experience working in agile, pod-based, or similarly cross-functional product organizations with globally distributed teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where customer needs, technology, and product requirements are evolving quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing opportunities and make effective product tradeoffs using customer insights, data, technical feasibility, and business objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • You help Lenovo establish differentiated enterprise AI capabilities and scalable products that connect devices, software, cloud services, and the broader Lenovo ecosystem.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $150K - $160K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
