AI & Enterprise Technology Intern, IT America
Siemens Corp., IT Americas ERP Value Center is seeking curious, self-motivated individuals to join our team as AI & Enterprise Technology Interns in Alpharetta, GA. In this role, you will use modern AI tools, including Anthropic’s Claude, to help solve real ERP, data, business process, and IT challenges while gaining hands-on experience in a global technology organization.
Siemens Corp., IT Americas ERP Value Center is seeking qualified candidates for its Summer 2027 Internship Program beginning in May 2027. This program is based in Alpharetta, GA.
What You’ll Do:
As an AI & Enterprise Technology Intern, you will work alongside IT teams to explore how AI and emerging technologies can help solve business challenges and improve the way we work. You will gain exposure to enterprise technology, ERP, data, and business processes while contributing to projects that support Siemens businesses across the Americas.
The employee responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Apply modern AI tools, including Anthropic’s Claude, to support research, documentation, data analysis, process improvement, prototyping, and decision-making.
- Analyze complex business and technology problems, break them into manageable components, and help design, prototype, and test potential solutions using AI and other technologies.
- Help identify and develop practical AI use cases and contribute to responsible AI best practices and new ways of working.
- Work with data and business processes to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement using tools such as Excel, with opportunities to apply SQL, Python, visualization, or automation skills depending on the project.
- Be an active member of an agile service team, working directly with internal IT customers and colleagues across North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
- Gain exposure to ERP systems and enterprise business processes and learn how technology supports functions across a global organization.
- Research emerging technologies and evaluate how they could be applied to real business and IT challenges.
- Prepare and present recommendations, findings, and proposals to management, both verbally and in writing.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to move ideas from initial concept through execution.

Basic Qualifications
- Current junior or senior undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree; candidates must not graduate prior to September 2027.
- Open to a variety of majors, including Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related fields. We care more about how you think, learn, and solve problems than the specific name of your degree.
- Located within 50 miles of Alpharetta, GA and able to work 40 hours per week from May to August 2027 with the ability to extend or hire.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn, with a genuine interest in AI, emerging technologies, and how they can improve the way we work.
- Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills, with the ability to break down complex or ambiguous problems while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
- A genuine interest in technology and a willingness to experiment with new tools and approaches.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms is a plus; prior expertise is not required.
- Comfort working with data and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL, Python, data visualization, automation, or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain ideas, findings, and recommendations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse, global, cross-functional team.
- Self-starter who demonstrates initiative, asks thoughtful questions, and takes ownership of assignments.
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

You’ll Benefit FromThe hourly pay range for this position $24 - $31 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
