About the job
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on AI Engineer III to join our CX Services team at F5. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy applied AI, NLP, and Generative AI solutions across our end-to-end enterprise ecosystem including Salesforce, Azure DevOps, Dell Boomi, Oracle Apps, Snowflake. ServiceNow, Tableau and Teams. A core focus of this role is applying AI to test automation building intelligent, self-healing automation that reduces manual QA effort and accelerates release quality. You will collaborate with QA engineers, business analysts, platform engineers, and solution architects to implement scalable AI & test automation. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong foundation in Python, LLMs, machine learning, and test automation who is eager to deliver measurable business impact across enterprise service delivery.

In this role, you will work across our core service pillars to introduce AI-first automation, intelligent analytics, and automated security remediation. You will partner with team leaders and cross-functional engineers to translate complex operational use cases into working AI prototypes and production pipelines. We foster a collaborative, innovation-driven work environment while granting autonomy to build creative solutions for challenging problems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Generative AI solutions that automatically convert functional requirements and user stories into structured test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Develop NLP and sentiment analysis pipelines for ServiceNow and customer interaction platforms to extract actionable experience insights.
- Build predictive machine learning models to analyse historical defect logs and forecast high-risk failure areas across application modules.
- Create intelligent deduplication algorithms to identify, consolidate, and optimize duplicate test cases across test repositories.
- Prototype and implement AI-assisted self-healing mechanisms to dynamically detect and fix broken test automation scripts during UI and API updates.
- Automate Azure DevOps (ADO) operational workflows, including backlog classification, smart work-item routing, and process triage.
- Build anomaly detection and log analysis solutions for Dell Boomi integrations and enterprise platform release pipelines.
- Apply AI/ML techniques to security telemetry to accelerate vulnerability discovery, prioritization, and automated remediation recommendations.
- Partner with the reporting team to integrate automated summarization and predictive insights into executive Tableau dashboards.
- Develop, test, and expose lightweight AI microservices and REST APIs to seamlessly integrate models into existing enterprise pipelines.
- Focus on operational efficiency, data security governance, and engineering excellence across all delivered AI solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience applying AI/ML, NLP, and Generative AI techniques to real-world technical or business problems (including relevant internships, capstones, or production projects).
- Overall IT hands-on experience of 7 years and above is considered.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and familiarity with data manipulation and ML libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) using commercial or open-source model APIs (e.g., GPT, Gemini, Llama, Mistral).
- Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows, prompt engineering, and utilizing vector databases (e.g., ChromaDB, FAISS, Pinecone, or Milvus).
- Solid understanding of core NLP techniques, including embeddings, semantic similarity search, text classification, and entity extraction.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress), with demonstrated ability to apply AI/ML to test automation — e.g., self-healing test scripts, AI-generated test scenarios, or intelligent test-case deduplication.
- Knowledge of API development and microservices integration using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js.
- Foundational understanding of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC), unit testing, debugging, and Git-based source code management.
- Strong analytical problem-solving mindset and a disciplined approach to experimentation and prompt evaluation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
- Working knowledge or exposure to enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps (ADO), Dell Boomi, or Tableau.
- Exposure to Copado or other Salesforce-native test automation and release tooling.
- Exposure to application security analysis, vulnerability management tools
- Understanding of MLOps fundamentals, including model monitoring, API latency optimization, and hallucination guardrails.
- Ability to translate ambiguous operational workflows into clear, automated AI-driven solutions.
