You will join the Strategy and Transformation Unit within the Digital Office (DO) and the new IT organization, you will collaborate with teams across Nokia to translate transformation priorities into practical results. Through real assignments, you will gain hands-on exposure to business processes, data, AI-enabled workflows, automation, governance, security, and change adoption in a global technology environment.

As part of the Portfolio, PM Practices, Process and Tools (PMPT) team, you will help rethink end-to-end processes, test practical AI solutions, and embed new ways of working that can scale across the organization. You will work alongside experienced colleagues to turn ideas into measurable efficiencies—bringing curiosity, energy, and resilience, while learning quickly, sharing openly, and contributing from day one.

Position: Internship
Duration: 12 months
Start date (tentative): November, 2026
Location: Hybrid in Amadora, Portugal
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school

Qualifications

You have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data, Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong curiosity about generative AI, automation, data analytics, digital transformation, and how technology can improve work.
  • High energy and the capacity to manage several priorities, take ownership, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-moving environment.
  • A growth mindset: you learn quickly, seek feedback, and are willing to move outside your comfort zone.
  • Resilience and adaptability when requirements evolve, experiments do not work as planned, or change takes time.
  • Professional fluency in English.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Generative AI tools, prompt design, AI agents, or responsible AI concepts.
  • Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, ServiceNow, SharePoint Online, SQL, Python, process modelling, or workflow automation.
  • Agile ways of working, user stories, design thinking, project work, or change and adoption activities.
  • A portfolio, prototype, dashboard, automation, or university project that demonstrates curiosity and initiative.
     

Responsibilities

  • Discover opportunities by mapping processes, understanding pain points, and identifying where AI, automation, and data can remove friction or improve decisions.
  • Co-create solutions with colleagues across Digital Office, translating business needs into clear user stories, requirements, prototypes, and practical improvement actions.
  • Experiment with AI responsibly to improve workflows, knowledge access, reporting, governance, and portfolio management—while keeping people, quality, security, and compliance in the loop.
  • Build and test automations using tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow, SharePoint, PowerBI, Copilot, and approved AI capabilities.
  • Use data to tell a story by creating dashboards, reports, and insights that support fact-based decisions and clearly show the value delivered.
  • Drive adoption by preparing guidance, demonstrations, communications, and learning materials that help teams confidently adopt new processes and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Measure impact by tracking efficiency gains, cycle-time reduction, quality improvements, user adoption, and lessons learned.
  • Keep learning by exploring emerging technology, sharing discoveries, seeking feedback, and continuously improving your work.
