Description and Requirements

The Enterprise AI Technology Strategy team enables Lenovo to make better technology investment decisions by identifying emerging opportunities, generating strategic options, evaluating trade-offs, aligning stakeholders, and translating technology insight into business impact. As part of the CTO Organization, the team helps determine where Lenovo should play, how it can win, and where it should invest, partner, or accelerate across AI and emerging technologies.

This position is to work at the heart of the most significant technology strategy planning and development in the CTO Organization. We are recruiting people with passion about technologies and thrive at the environment where curiosity and learnings are basic requirements.

■Roles and responsibilities

  • Analyze emerging AI technologies, industry developments, competitive dynamics, and market trends to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
  • Monitor and assess the China AI ecosystem, including foundation model providers, platform vendors, startups, research institutions, and government initiatives.
  • Develop technology outlooks, landscape assessments, strategy papers, executive briefing materials, and strategic recommendations for CTO and Lenovo leadership.
  • Assess AI platforms, agentic AI frameworks, enterprise AI architectures, and ecosystem developments to identify implications for Lenovo’s business and technology strategy.
  • Support the development of strategic options, investment theses, and future scenarios across AI and emerging technology domains.
  • Apply strategic frameworks to evaluate opportunities, assess trade-offs, and inform technology investment and prioritization decisions.
  • Build executive-ready insights and recommendations that help define innovation priorities across R&D organizations.
  • Translate complex technology topics into clear and actionable recommendations for technical and business audiences.
  • Drive collaboration across research, product, engineering, strategy, and business teams to support enterprise technology priorities.
  • Support enterprise alignment efforts by helping connect technology insights to strategic planning, investment decisions, and business objectives.
  • Contribute to CTO-level technology strategy initiatives and strategic planning processes.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Technology Management, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in technology strategy, innovation, emerging technology research, technical consulting, enterprise architecture, product strategy, corporate strategy, or related disciplines. 
  • Experience conducting technology, market, competitive, and ecosystem analysis and translating findings into strategic recommendations. 
  • Experience developing executive-facing presentations, reports, or business recommendations. 
  • Demonstrated experience working across technical and business stakeholders.
