Administrative Assistant

General Summary of the Position:
Performs administrative duties for one or more senior leaders within the organization. Is knowledgeable of corporate policies and practices. Has access to confidential information. Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in their work. Work requires some analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment. Some business contacts may be of a sensitive, complex, and sometimes confidential nature and includes management at all levels both inside and outside of company. Works effectively with little or no supervision.
Essential Functions:
Provides leaders with administrative support, such as:
- Coordinates the manager's schedule, makes appointments and establishes agendas
- Arranges and coordinates all business travel
- Handles confidential material relevant to company operations
- Screens the manager's phone calls and incoming mail
- Performs word processing duties
- May conduct various analytical special projects, especially involving budgets and preparation for senior management meetings
- Coordinates department meetings
- Serves as a contact to people inside and outside the company
- Collaborates with various staff and departments in preparing special projects
- Identification and ownership of special projects for efficiency of organization
- Some systems administration involving ensuring accuracy and monitoring data
- Some system workflow review/approval of items with manager
- Proxy for manager(s) for approvals and entries
- Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines for submission of item.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must have vast knowledge of administrative practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must have ability to multi-task
- Ability to handle sensitive, complex and confidential information
- Must be proficient with general office equipment, PCs, advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills

Education and Experience Requirement:
- Associate degree in business or general studies preferred and/or minimum of six years of experience in administrative/executive support position in a corporate setting

The pay range for this position is $58,300 - $105,000 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
