Activision is looking for talented and innovative students to join our teams for summer 2027. All interns will receive a meaningful project and an unparalleled experience. We’ll provide the tools and resources you need to learn. The challenging and creative work you do throughout your internship will directly impact the team you are contributing to.
All internships will be conducted in-person. Hosting managers will determine when and how often interns work in the office. All interns will have the option to opt into relocation services (flights, trains, or car mileage reimbursement). Additionally, all interns will be provided with a living stipend to subsidize housing, utility, commuting, and miscellaneous costs.
Program Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program and graduating December 2027 – June 2028
- Available to participate in a 12-week internship starting in mid-May or mid-June
- Currently residing in the US or open to relocating oneself to the US
- Exhibits learning agility; has the ability to think differently, and/or grasp and apply new skills and concepts
- Approaches problems in a clear, well-organized, and solutions-oriented manner
- Works well with others and contributes to team tasks
- Able to effectively communicate problems, solutions, needs, or priorities
- Is engaged, seeks to learn, and is able to manage time effectively
- A passion for significantly impacting game development

Internship Opportunities
Development QA Intern:
The Studio Development QA team isn't the typical QA you hear and learn about. The Dev QA team works closely with all parts of the game development process (embedded to the departments), helping the Directors, Design team, Engineers, Artists, and production team with testing their work and/or assist in what they need, and help facilitate the daily playtests and managing the playtest "bullpen." The Development QA Intern will learn everything there is about Functional QA Testing and into embedded QA tasks. Playtests are the backbone of our development process, so the Intern will be a big part of this process.
Requirements:
- Experience with software, tools, and platforms like Jira, Miro, and Confluence.
- Experience with Microsoft office suite like outlook, word, excel, power point.
- Experience with communication tools such as Slack or Discord.
- Passion for Game development
- Any prior playtesting experience is a plus

Game Production Intern:
The Game Production Intern will help facilitate and manage the guidance and direction of a major game title. This role will focus on the production aspect of implementing new features into a major game title.
Requirements:
- Experience with project management, scheduling, and timeline creation.
- Experience with software, tools, and platforms such as Jira, Excel, Miro, and Confluence.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle.
- Interest in learning how to coordinate work across multiple teams and help drive features from concept to completion.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and contribute to feature development efforts.
- Ability to work closely with Quality Assurance (QA), including supporting test planning, bug triage, validation, and gameplay testing efforts.
- Strong interest in video game development and familiarity with modern game genres, systems, and player experiences.
- Passion for games and a desire to learn how features are developed, shipped, and supported in a live production environment

Tech Production Intern:
The Tech Production Team facilitates and manages the guidance and direction of internal projects. This role will focus on the stuff “under the hood”. When the tools, processes, and infrastructure used to build out our games need to be created, updated, or maintained, this is the team that does that, and the Production Intern will help drive those projects.
Requirements:
- Experience with project management scheduling and timeline creation.
- Experience with software, tools, and platforms like Jira, Excel, Miro, and Confluence.
- Experience with engineering tools and methods (GitHub, unit testing, continuous integration, etc.)

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $20.00 - $50.00 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
