Your role:
The Siemens Healthineers Active Directory Administrator will be part of a global team that supports the company’s Active Directory infrastructure worldwide. This role focuses on monitoring and operating on-premises Active Directory, contributing to related projects, and supporting automation and broader infrastructure initiatives. The candidate will be part of the SHS IT Infrastructure Modern Workplace Core Services organization and collaborates closely with colleagues across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
- Monitor and operate a large-scale, on-premises Active Directory environment, ensuring workflows and transactions are processed reliably and on schedule
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, including routine administrative tasks and technical troubleshooting
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Active Directory Enterprise Infrastructure
- Contribute to worldwide allocated Active Directory related projects
- Work with adjacent technologies, including System Center Operations Manager, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, PKI, and SQL
- show willingness of continual self-improvement in your areas of responsibility
- Develop PowerShell scripts to automate recurring tasks and improve operational efficiency
- Responds to operations-related enquiries and may act as first point of contact in subject matters.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Siemens Healthineers' security standards for identity infrastructure
Your expertise:
- Core Active Directory and infrastructure expertise
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration, including troubleshooting, log analysis, and daily operational support
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server systems, especially Core Server editions
- Solid understanding of network technologies and principles
- Security, automation, and adjacent technologies
- Experience with certificate management and PKI, including NDES
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and operational efficiency
- Good understanding of Microsoft security guidelines
- Experience with at least one of the following technologies is an advantage: Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, System Center Operations Manager, or SQL
- IT service management and productivity tools
- Good knowledge of ITIL practices
- Excellent experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Experience creating clear technical documentation
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining high delivery quality
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt efficiently to new technologies and architectures
- Self-directed and proactive, with a best-practice mindset
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- A university degree in Computer Science or similar
- Must have 3+ years of relevant work experience within the IT infrastructure area with the background of Active Directory and IT Backend operations
- Knowledge of Siemens/Siemens Healthineers Infrastructure environments
