Overview
Accounting Manager will lead a team of accountants within Xerox Global Business Services Record to Report organization in Cebu, Philippines. This role is responsible for accurate financial accounting, analysis, reporting, controls, and timely delivery of month end requirements while supporting continuous improvement and transformation. The position works a 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift and will be onsite for the first six months, transitioning to a hybrid work model thereafter.

What You Will Do
  • Lead a team responsible for accurate month end results, financial analysis, reporting, and supporting corporate schedules.
  • Review and approve financial accounts, manual journals, account reconciliations, and required documentation while supporting internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Resolve complex accounting and system-related issues and provide accurate, insightful analysis to support business reviews.
  • Manage team performance and talent development while supporting career progression, talent identification, and retention.
  • Drive standardization, continuous improvement, and transformation across the team while leveraging available technology and transformation resources.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in an accounting-related field, with Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Management Accounting preferred.
  • Strong accounting experience as an individual contributor combined with more than three years of leadership experience managing accounting professionals.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization capabilities.
  • Experience leading teams and delivering accounting outcomes in a multinational environment, with the ability to work effectively through changing priorities and deadlines.
  • A transformation and continuous improvement mindset; US GAAP knowledge and CPA certification are beneficial but are not required when supported by strong accounting and leadership experience.
