Description and Requirements
Position Summary
We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to provide temporary support to the Peru Accounting team during a maternity leave coverage. This role will be responsible for supporting key accounting and tax processes, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements, and contributing to monthly and year-end financial activities. The assignment is expected to run from October 2026 through January 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly tax accounting reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit statutory accounting books in accordance with local regulations.
- Support monthly tax reporting activities through Lenovo’s tax reporting tools.
- Assist with the preparation of the local statutory year-end close.
- Support account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Assist internal and external audit processes.
- Prepare accounting, tax, and regulatory reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Previous experience in accounting, financial reporting, or similar functions.
- Experience with account reconciliations and statutory reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with regional and global stakeholders.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
