Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
  • Coordinate audit requests and support annual statutory and external audit processes
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
  • Analyze financial results and provide insights on key performance drivers
  • Maintain financial models, reports, and forecasting templates
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate accounting policies
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting, reporting, and planning processes
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to support finance initiatives and business objectives
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage
  • Relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, audit support, and FP&A
  • Experience supporting multinational environments and multiple entities preferred
  • Knowledge of South Asia entities and markets is an advantage
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in financial analysis
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls

  • Experience working with cross-functional and regional teams
  • Background in multinational companies is preferred
