Account Manager
At Siemens, we’re continuing to grow - and we’re looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Territory Sales Manager to help us take our Medium Voltage business to the next level across Newcastle and the broader NSW market.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global technology leader and play a key role in growing our presence across some of Australia’s most important and rapidly evolving industries, including Renewables, Water, Transportation, Data Centres and Resources.
You’ll take ownership of a high-potential territory, combining new business development with strategic account management to identify opportunities, build trusted customer relationships and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
You’ll represent Siemens’ market-leading Medium Voltage portfolio, including primary and secondary switchgear, ring main units up to 33kV, protection relays, Fusesaver, CMR overhead reclosing products and packaged electrical solutions.

What you’ll do
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, consultants, EPCs and contractors, balancing new business acquisition with strategic account growth.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities across Renewables, Water, Data Centres, Transportation and Resources.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, driving opportunities from initial engagement through to successful conversion.
- Develop and execute 3–5 year strategic growth plans to expand Siemens’ market presence and pipeline across the territory.
- Understand customer needs and develop tailored Siemens solutions across our Medium Voltage product and service portfolio.
- Lead commercial and contract negotiations and work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver the right outcomes for customers.
- Become a trusted point of contact for key customers, proactively addressing challenges and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the infrastructure and industrial ecosystem.
- Represent Siemens at industry events, seminars and roadshows, showcasing our technology and solutions.
- Conduct face-to-face customer meetings, presentations and discussions to identify opportunities and drive adoption of Siemens solutions.
- Provide market intelligence and regular updates to senior leadership on emerging opportunities, customer needs and competitive activity.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for a commercially minded sales professional who is confident building relationships, opening doors and turning opportunities into results.
You’ll ideally bring:
- 5+ years’ local sales experience within the Medium Voltage, electrical infrastructure or related industrial sector.
- A strong understanding of the NSW industrial and infrastructure market. Experience across renewables, water, data centres, resources or major projects would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated success in business development, new customer acquisition and account management.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop trusted, long-term partnerships with customers and industry stakeholders.
- Experience with contract, commercial and tendering processes.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- An understanding of relevant Australian Standards and statutory requirements within the electrical industry.
- A proactive, results-driven approach and the ability to work collaboratively across a diverse organisation.
