ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Account Executive focused on our Emerging & Small BioPharma segment, you will drive new business and expand HealthVerity's footprint within emerging and small pharmaceutical and biotech companies. This is a fast-paced, high-velocity sales role requiring someone who can quickly identify opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and articulate how HealthVerity's data and technology solutions address commercial pharmaceutical challenges. You'll operate with urgency and precision — managing a high volume of accounts while maintaining the consultative depth needed to close complex data deals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business within the emerging and small biopharma segment
  • Build, maintain, and manage a robust sales pipeline with consistent forecast accuracy to achieve individual revenue goals
  • Move deals through the sales cycle at pace — from initial outreach and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on healthcare data and commercial analytics solutions
  • Lead product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with executive stakeholders and end users within pharmaceutical companies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Pre-Sales, Real World Data Solutions, Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams to develop tailored solutions for client challenges
  • Drive all stages of opportunity development including RFIs, RFPs, proposals, contract negotiations, and execution
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving commercial data needs within biopharma

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 3-7 years of sales experience in healthcare data, analytics, SaaS, or life sciences technology
  • Proven track record selling to emerging/small pharmaceutical or biotech companies, within commercial functions
  • Experience with healthcare data assets (claims, EHR, lab, consumer) and how they are used in commercial settings
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume book of business while maintaining deal quality
  • Ability to diagnose client challenges through discovery and recommend tailored, multi-product solutions
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), prospecting platforms (LinkedIn Navigator, Outreach), and sales forecasting
  • Willingness to travel for conferences, client meetings, and industry events as needed

Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $140,000 - 170,000 + incentive compensation plan.
