【2026 Southeast Asia & India】Advanced Packaging Technology and Service Engineer

Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

Job Responsibilities

As an Advanced Packaging Technology and Service Engineer at TSMC, you will drive the development of cutting-edge packaging technologies like CoWoS and InFO, focusing on chip performance, system integration, and production efficiency. You will conduct research on DFT test architectures, evaluate innovative test solutions, and collaborate with international clients to transition products from design to mass production, contributing to advancements in AI, HPC, and modern electronics.

1. Develop and support advanced packaging technologies (e.g., CoWoS, InFO) for high-performance chips.

2. Conduct research on DFT test architectures and evaluate next-gen test technologies.

3. Collaborate with international customers on new product introduction and mass production.

4. Improve chip performance and packaging efficiency through cross-functional teamwork.

5. Support packaging technology applications in AI, HPC, and modern electronics.

Job Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Computer engineering, Communication, Optical electronics or related fields

2. Solid technical understanding of semiconductor testing concept

3. Familiar with programming language

4. Hands-on participation and a strong sense of ownership

5. Exhibit good communication skills to work within cross-functional teams

6. Fluent in English and knowing Mandarin will be a plus.
