Join Nokia's Broadband Access Networks team to validate and automate testing of next-generation broadband solutions. Apply your networking expertise and Python automation skills to ensure high-quality software delivery and customer success.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering stream with 7 plus years of experience in L2, L3 Datacom / Protocol testing (e.g., VLAN, xSTP, IGMP, ARP, 802.1x, QoS, DHCP, PPPoE, IPV6).
  • Proficient in test automation using Python and manual testing practices.
  • Hands-on experience with traffic generators like Spirent, IXIA, or PCTA.
  • Skilled in analyzing, reproducing, and resolving complex system-level issues.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Prior work experience in any of Fiber / EPON / GPON / IPDSLAM / FTTH product lines will be added advantage
  • Automation with Python will be desirable along with good debugging skills. 

Responsibilities

    • Design and execute test cases for broadband access network products.
    • Build and maintain test environments for functional and regression testing.
    • Validate Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking features and protocols.
    • Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive issue resolution.
    • Develop and enhance automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
    • Execute performance and traffic validation using industry test tools.
    • Collaborate with development teams to improve product quality.
    • Support delivery milestones in a fast-paced and agile environment.
