The Meta Product Technical Program Management (TPM) community is pioneering technologies to bring people (and businesses) closer together at a global scale. Product TPMs work at the cross-section between technical execution and business strategy and are expected to partner closely with Engineering and Product teams. Being a TPM at Meta means driving impact by delivering measurable results across a wide range of areas. You'll be responsible for defining and guiding high-level goals and roadmaps, monitoring and communicating progress, and defining functional requirements for new products and features. It also means having a strong technical background, understanding system architecture, and the experience to effectively collaborate across functions and organizations to deliver impact. Business Messaging is the next pillar of Meta’s business and aims to drive value to the users and business ecosystem we serve, and effectively monetize our Meta messaging apps. As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), for the Business Messaging, you will be responsible for delivering significant business value through building API platforms and shared foundations to make Messaging a seamless user journey from discovery to (re)engagement, and an integral part of the broader Meta Monetization portfolio. You will work with teams of talented engineers, product managers, data scientists, and other cross-functional team members to build a long term technology portfolio that drives the next pillar of Meta’s business. You’ll communicate progress and drive program execution efficiently through cross-functional and cross-organisational collaboration to achieve business goals. You’ll be an integral part of the team who will drive technical strategy, system architectural discussions, and make future-proof decisions that align with product strategy and vision.

Responsibilities

Build aligned program teams to efficiently deliver on shared goals, with an understanding of the technical designs and customer needs Collaborate with engineering and business owners to define program requirements, identify priorities, establish scope and define the roadmap for deliverables Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Partner with cross functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases. Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross functional execution of program deliverables. Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with engineering leaders and stakeholders. Influence product decisions to align with higher company initiatives. Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation.

Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management experience. Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products. Experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery. Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope. Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership. Organizational coordination experience and experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones. Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems and processes Experience with cloud infrastructure and services Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Compensation: $108,000/year to $164,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
