Meta's procurement and supply chain organization is seeking a Supplier Strategy Lead to define and drive the strategic direction of Meta's supplier ecosystem across hardware, infrastructure, and technology categories. In this role, you will develop long-term supplier strategies that support Meta's product and infrastructure roadmaps, spanning areas such as consumer hardware, data center infrastructure, and emerging technologies. You will operate at the intersection of supply chain strategy, commercial negotiation, and cross-functional program execution, shaping how Meta sources, develops, and manages its most critical supplier relationships at scale.

Responsibilities

Define and own multi-year supplier strategies for key categories, aligning sourcing decisions with Meta's hardware, infrastructure, and technology product roadmaps Lead strategic supplier segmentation efforts, identifying preferred, strategic, and developmental suppliers across Meta's supply base Drive supplier development programs that improve capability, capacity, quality, and resilience across critical supply chain tiers Develop and execute sourcing strategies for complex, high-value categories, including competitive bidding, dual-sourcing, and make-versus-buy analyses Lead executive-level supplier business reviews, establishing performance frameworks and accountability structures across strategic supplier relationships Partner with hardware engineering, infrastructure, legal, and finance teams to align supplier strategy with product development timelines and cost targets Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive supplier diversification, geopolitical risk assessment, and contingency planning Build and maintain market intelligence on supplier landscapes, technology trends, and competitive sourcing dynamics to inform strategic decisions Develop frameworks, playbooks, and governance models that standardize supplier strategy practices across the procurement organization Influence senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders through structured written proposals, strategic briefings, and data-driven recommendations

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in supplier strategy, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or procurement within a technology, hardware, or infrastructure-intensive industry Experience developing and executing multi-year supplier strategies for complex, high-value categories including hardware components, manufacturing, or technology services Experience leading cross-functional programs involving engineering, finance, legal, and operations stakeholders to deliver sourcing outcomes aligned with product and business objectives Experience conducting supplier risk assessments, market analyses, and make-versus-buy evaluations to inform strategic sourcing decisions Experience communicating supplier strategy recommendations and program outcomes to senior leadership through structured written deliverables and executive presentations Familiarity with geopolitical risk analysis and supply chain resilience planning in global manufacturing contexts Experience building supplier governance frameworks, scorecards, or segmentation models at an organizational level Experience applying data analytics or supply chain modeling tools to support strategic sourcing decisions and supplier performance management Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Experience in supplier strategy for consumer hardware, data center infrastructure, or semiconductor supply chains Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Compensation: $145,000/year to $205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
