Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team, is in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.

The Strategic Sales Lead will identify and evaluate opportunities to improve performance and scale the attach of AppleCare products, and align projects and programs across multiple regions to ensure successful execution of the sales strategies and programs.

This is a highly cross-functional role collaborating closely with stakeholders across all markets in EMEIA and with WW teams to help develop and support the business. Reporting to the EMEIA AppleCare Sales Director, the role is based in London and will require some travel across EMEIA.

Description

As an AppleCare Strategic Sales Program Lead you are responsible for executing sales strategies within EMEIA and collaborating globally to scale learnings. The key tasks involve:

Identify opportunities to drive growth across pan-EMEIA channel partners and drive best-in-class execution of sales strategies
Lead sales enablement regional strategy and activities for channel partners in EMEIA as the subject matter expert
Collaborate internally with various Apple teams to achieve results. This includes Central Sales, SP&O, Marcom, and Account Executives. Inspire and educate these teams to prioritize AppleCare
Project manage special strategic initiatives from inception to completion. This will often include close cross functional collaboration with WorldWide teams
Scale knowledge across teams and be the go-to expert on what is impacting the business
Champion the needs of the EMEIA market with headquarters to promote understanding and marshal the resources needed for success
Lead and improve centralized processes within the EMEIA AppleCare Business Development team, such as account planning and sales playbook development

Minimum Qualifications

  • Outstanding business acumen for identifying areas of improvement with proven record of developing and executing strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the big picture while maintaining exceptional attention to execution details
  • Strong quantitative and decision-making skills with ability to synthesize data into concrete action plans.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. Resourcefulness and flexibility to drive programs independently, marshaling required resources from a complex, matrixed organization
  • High comfort in dealing with senior stakeholders within Apple and at the Partner account level
  • Analytical Skills: Self-starter with an analytical orientation, strategic vision, and strong executional track record
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with strong networking ability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with the largest Carriers and Retailers
  • Prior experience in sales program management or go-to-market roles
  • Proven experience in sales in the consumer electronics or telecom industry, having influenced and driven performance through partners while maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Alternatively consulting background in these industries. Understanding of the B2C service business and go-to-market strategies for extended service and support agreements.
