Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Android development initiatives.
- Define, implement, and evolve software architectures.
- Conduct technical reviews and code reviews.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues.
- Support the definition and adoption of development standards and best practices.
- Mentor developers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
Required Skills
- Solid experience in Android application development and its core internal components.
- Strong knowledge of Software Architecture, particularly MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, Dependency Injection, Modularization, and REST API integration.
- Experience with troubleshooting and production issue analysis.
- Knowledge of AI tools used to support software development.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong technical leadership skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and support decision-making processes.
- Systemic and holistic thinking.
- Mentoring and talent development capabilities.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Android Profiler, memory leak analysis, and crash investigation.
- Experience with Jenkins, Gerrit, and Continuous Integration (CI).
- Knowledge of Android Open Source Project (AOSP) architecture.
- Participation in Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D&I) projects.
- Experience working on global products and with internationally distributed teams.
Experience
- Proven experience in Android development, including technical leadership and software architecture definition.
- Strong background in troubleshooting complex production issues and supporting development teams.
- Experience with modern software engineering practices, code reviews, and implementation of development best practices.
- Experience in global environments, innovation projects, and continuous integration processes is highly desirable.
Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
