Position Overview
As a (Senior) Display Engineer, the candidate will lead the development of various display modules to be implemented in Amazon devices, including E Ink, LCD, OLED, and microLED technologies. This role requires a highly technical, multi-disciplinary approach in a fast-paced product development environment.
The ideal candidate is encouraged to work efficiently and strategically to advance new display module technologies that meet next-generation product requirements. A strong understanding of electrical engineering, optics, and materials/processes for display lamination is essential. Given that this role interacts with multiple cross-functional teams, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are required to effectively influence key stakeholders, both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of display modules for consumer electronic devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and manufacturing engineering
- Drive display technology innovation to meet product performance, cost, and reliability targets
- Conduct electrical and optical characterization, testing, and validation of display modules
- Identify and resolve display-related issues through structured root cause analysis
- Interface with external suppliers and partners to ensure component quality and delivery
- Document technical specifications, test results, and design reviews
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Experience with the project management of technical projects
