As a Solution Engineer Manager, you will lead a team of Azure Solution Engineers who act as trusted advisors and subject matter experts in Azure. You will work closely with customers to guide them through their Frontier AI transformation journey, helping them realize their business priorities through Agentic AI and cloud platform. Your team will support customers in evaluating their applications and business requirements, recommending tailored solutions, and demonstrating cutting-edge technologies to win technical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Master Role Excellence: Master the Role Success Guide, compensation model, and SE expectations. Set shared goals to strengthen sales and technical discipline, applying a consistent Model, Coach, and Care rhythm to drive ACR outcomes.
- Leverage AI / Copilot: Lead by example to leverage Copilot and AI tools to accelerate sales cycle.
- Drive Milestone & Forecast Discipline: Maintain SE’s CRM-entry rigor with assessment and Technical Workshops (live technical demo, architecture/whiteboarding, rapid prototyping, Hands-on Keyboard POC/Pilot) with clear visibility into milestones, risks, and blockers to accelerate execution
- Build Solution Mastery: Foster SE’s continuous learning culture and maintain L200 proficiency across all Cloud and AI and coach sellers to L300-400 technical fluency in SE respective domain.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong executive partnerships to remove barriers and ensure smooth execution of SE-led engagements.
- Develop Your People: Monthly 1:1s on career growth and skill gaps. Use Connects and Perspectives for feedback; foster inclusion and psychological safety.
- Champion Continuous Learning: Dedicate 3+ hrs weekly to your learning; protect team skilling. Celebrate certifications and share win-wires.
- 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR equivalent experience
