The IS&T Enterprise business Application group is seeking a Software Developers in Test who has a proven track record in maintaining a high quality enterprise software solutions. Our group is responsible for Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) transformation initiative to deliver next generation Product Information Management(PIM) Platform to drive Apple’s Product Innovation across hardware, software and services lines of business.

In this position, you’ll l work closely with key business stakeholders to build an enterprise PIM platform that enables Product innovation and Collaboration across Apple’s product value chain.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience building and delivering large scale, on-premise, and cloud-based enterprise solutions specially PLM. This individual should have sound technical and functional knowledge around PLM and latest Test frameworks. A great candidate will create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, innovation, and learning.

Description

This hands-on role demands the best and brightest; the ideal candidate will be well rounded and offer a diverse skills that aligns with the key qualifications listed above. This is a highly cross-functional role; we interact closely with technical and business teams all across Apple and other third party partners.

• Collaboration with engineering, infrastructure, site reliability, project management, and partner technical and business teams to formulate engineering specifications.
• Working with other quality and performance engineers in crafting test plans, test cases, and associated automation, setting standards, estimating effort, and coordinating test execution.
• Identify and document defects, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and address resolutions.
• Engage with stakeholders to define and consistently assess metrics that monitor product quality

  Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in quality assurance or software engineering.
  • Proficient in developing test plans and automation strategies for intricate full-stack applications.
  • Experience in testing and automating browser-based applications across various platforms, using automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent.
  • Experience in testing and automating enterprise application like Siemens Teamcenter or any equivalent PLM systems
  • Automating and testing Asynchronous and distributed systems.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of back-end development technologies, particularly in Java and related frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of browser technologies and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Proficiency in relational database technologies like Oracle or Postgres.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and meticulous individual with excellent written and oral English communication skills.
