Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain automation scripts and software tools using Python and C++ to enhance VLSI design and CAD environment efficiency.
- Assist executive CAD engineers in integrating and supporting commercial Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools within the CI2 design flow.
- Collaborate with design and verification teams to debug and resolve tool and flow issues, contributing to productivity improvements.
- Contribute to documentation, standardization, and version control (e.g., Git) practices for CAD tools and methodologies.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of industry experience in semiconductor CAD/automation or internship experience.
- Experience with coding and software development in Python or C++.
- Experience with version control systems, Linux/Unix operating systems, and shell scripting.
- Experience with standard VLSI design concepts and flows.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or a related field.
- Working experience in advanced technology nodes.
