Responsibilities
  • Manage material purchasing activities to ensure materials are available to support production and business requirements.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and conduct regular AOS (Assurance of Supply) meetings to review supply commitments, address issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage purchase orders by tracking order status, following up on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and shipment commitments to ensure on-time fulfilment.
  • Monitor and manage past due orders, working closely with suppliers to develop and execute recovery plans to improve delivery performance.
  • Resolve procurement-related discrepancies, including issues involving quantity, pricing, delivery dates, and order fulfilment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal stakeholders to prevent material shortages and excess inventory.
  • Support semi-annual price reviews with suppliers and drive cost reduction initiatives while ensuring compliance with agreed pricing, contracts, and procurement policies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Planning, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics, to support operational and business objectives.
  • Handle supplier escalations and resolve supply chain issues related to CIRF, Hotline Orders, material shortages, and other procurement-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and analyse key procurement metrics, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Past Due performance, and supplier responsiveness; prepare reports and provide updates to management.
Qualifications

•    Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and conducting cost and lead-time negotiations.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and procurement analytics tools.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial supply chain environments is preferred.
  • Experience in inventory management, demand and supply planning, and supplier performance management is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global environment while supporting business and operational objectives.
