Buying, Analytics & Measurement (BAM) UX is a group of impassioned designers, researchers and writers, defining the user experience of the Google Marketing Platform and critical pieces of the broader Google advertising ecosystem.

Account Management is underpin our most business-critical advertiser experiences—scaling from the smallest mom & pop shops all the way to the world’s largest brands & agencies. It’s a dynamic product area within Google Ads, with highly visible OKRs to drive the advertiser organization & efficiency, consumer transparency, revenue impact, sales team productivity, support ticket reduction, and fraud deterrence.

We're looking for an enthusiastic UX Designer who is both a strategic product thinker and a meticulous executor, to support Ads Billing UX. This is a unique team that solves deep product and business problems within Google Ads Billing, partnering across with Payments and other Enterprise scale Ads teams. You'll engage in financial flows within Google Ads. Everything from invoice reconciliation, to billing settings, to agentic experiments. In this role, you will design core Ads Billing experiences, which cover workflows from mom and pop shops to large agency needs. You'll be in the weeds of managing through experiences for advertising spend, partnering with Payments, and financial reconciliation, operating at the core of Google's revenue and customer trust.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.

  • Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
  • Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
  • Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience leading design projects.
  • Experience working within and contributing to design systems, as well as building accessible products.
  • Experience in interaction design, product thinking, and playing a role in prototyping and user research.
  • Ability to keep teams in the loop, tell compelling stories, and clearly articulate design decisions.
  • Solid visual design skills.
