Overview
The Software Engineering (SE) Guild is a global community of 8,000+ software engineers across Mastercard. The SE Guild exists to develop and share knowledge, standards, practices, and tooling, and to help elevate and maintain the craft of software engineering across the company.

Role
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, Engineering Enablement, you will be a key execution partner responsible for ensuring SE Guild programs, communications, events, and operational processes are delivered consistently and effectively at scale.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role. The right candidate is comfortable doing the administrative work required to keep SE Guild programs moving — publishing updates, coordinating communications, maintaining shared resources, updating distribution lists and community platforms, tracking deliverables, following up with key stakeholders, supporting existing workflows, and improving how work gets done through process optimization and automation whenever possible.
Over time, this role is expected to take on increasing responsibility and leadership within SE Guild initiatives, based on experience, trust, and demonstrated impact.
Success in this role requires enough software engineering exposure to follow technical discussions and ensure SE Guild communications and enablement resources are accurate, relevant, and useful for software engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations for SE Guild programs, meetings, and community moments, including scheduling, distribution list management, materials preparation, follow-ups, and overall operational readiness.
  • Manage communications, publishing, and stakeholder follow-up across SE Guild programs, digital community platforms, and cross-functional groups to ensure timely and consistent information flow.
  • Maintain lightweight operating mechanisms, standards, templates, and repeatable processes that improve consistency, visibility, and execution across SE Guild initiatives.
  • Support the execution of SE Guild programs by coordinating updates, organizing materials, maintaining shared resources, and ensuring program assets remain accurate, current, and easy to use.
  • Contribute to new and evolving SE Guild initiatives as priorities shift, applying sound operational judgment to support planning, coordination, execution, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Track and communicate risks, dependencies, blockers, action items, and operational status across SE Guild workstreams, escalating as needed to keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Maintain SE Guild knowledge platforms and digital hubs, including SharePoint and related channels, as trusted sources for learning resources, events, enablement materials, standards, and community information.
  • Keep content organized, current, and easy to navigate by coordinating updates, cleaning up outdated materials, improving information architecture, and ensuring resources are accessible and usable for engineering audiences.
  • Identify friction points, manual effort, and recurring operational gaps across SE Guild workflows, including publishing, tracking, reporting, roster management, event operations, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Implement practical improvements and automation opportunities using available tools and existing systems to reduce churn, improve reliability, increase visibility, and shorten turnaround times.
All about you
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, operations, engineering enablement, or complex cross-functional coordination roles, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and execute with operational excellence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • Fluent English proficiency, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with global stakeholders, senior leaders, and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated understanding of software engineering principles, development of lifecycles, technical interviewing processes, or engineering enablement practices, with the ability to engage credibly with Senior, Staff, and Principal Engineers.
  • Exceptional written communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with experience developing internal communications, maintaining shared documentation, and coordinating team-wide calendars and initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively within administrative, operational, and governance frameworks that support large-scale, distributed engineering organizations.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with a track record of building strong partnerships and the potential to assume increasing ownership, leadership, and strategic responsibility over time.
  • Fluency in collaboration and productivity tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI and automation or data tooling (e.g., Power Automate, Power Query) to streamline operational and enablement workflows.
Nice to have
  • Prior experience as a Software Engineer or in a closely related technical role (helpful context and credibility).
  • Experience experimenting with or applying AI tools beyond Copilot (e.g., configuring agents, using AI-assisted workflows, or integrating AI tools into enablement or operational processes).
