Senior Specialist, Product ManagementOverviewThe Security Solutions Organization delivers technology, standards, and operational frameworks that enable safe, secure, and resilient payments across physical and digital channels. These products leverage global security standards, network intelligence, and advanced assurance methodologies to protect the integrity, continuity, and trust of the payment ecosystem.
In this role, you will:
Act as a business owner and manage both long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for a commercialized product.
Oversee product evolution and lifecycle management.
Establish go-to-market and pricing strategies.
Optimize products and resources.
Implement incremental improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
Conduct ongoing product care and maintenance.
Manage product P&L.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management
This role will define the product go-to-market strategy together with country teams for SSO products by:
Growing SSO platform and consulting revenues in MEA.
Identifying and driving key sales opportunities in partnership with local country teams.
Complying with the New Product Development (NPD) and Go-to-Market process for product launches.
Creating and presenting business cases to support new product launches.
Managing communication and training programs to educate internal MEA stakeholders on SSO Issuer Fraud Prevention services.
Developing commercial relationships with Mastercard business partners (Sales organizations and Global teams) and supporting MEA account teams in executing the SSO Issuer Fraud Prevention services strategy.
Financial Management
Delivering against the annual revenue budget for SSO Issuer Fraud Prevention services.
Developing the annual budget in coordination with Regional C&I and the Global SSO Products team.
Regularly tracking performance against budget and investigating and analyzing positive and negative variances.
Additional Responsibilities
Develop reporting, MIS, and market intelligence to support strategic business planning and performance management.
Drive data-driven product enhancements and contribute to product roadmap prioritization.
Apply knowledge of Mastercard's business model, products, and the broader payments ecosystem to inform product strategy and business decisions.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver product objectives, innovation initiatives, and ongoing enhancements.
Promote product management best practices, continuous learning, and Mastercard Way behaviors in all stakeholder interactions.
All About You
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent practical experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
Advanced MS Excel and Power BI skills (XLOOKUP, advanced lookup functions, pivot tables, database connections, ThinkCell, and related tools etc).
Demonstrable experience in product conceptualization, design, development, and delivery.
Self-motivated, with the ability to interact and coordinate effectively with internal and external business partners, and work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment across functions and regions.
Experience independently developing and managing budgets for multiple products and projects.
Experience translating strategy into product launches and implementation plans to scale new products within a market.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with a proven track record of developing solutions that drive revenue growth.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
3+ years of experience in product management, payments, fraud prevention, or a related field.
