Amazon Publisher Services (APS) is at the forefront of how publishers monetize their content and connect to Amazon demand through programmatic integrations. Amazon Publisher Cloud (APC), part of APS, is the first and only clean room solution that enables advertisers to run more efficient campaigns on Amazon DSP, powered by publishers' proprietary first-party data signals and exclusive insights from Amazon Ads.

We are looking for a collaborative and technically skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in Tokyo and serve as the primary technical and strategic partner for streaming TV (STV) providers in Japan. This is a hybrid APS STV + APC role with a phased approach: you will first focus on integrating Japanese providers with APS to unlock STV supply for Amazon demand, and then transition those publishers onto APC to enable advanced data collaboration, audience activation, and measurement capabilities.

This is a technical/consultative role where you will combine deep ad tech expertise to guide providers through every step of their journey from initial STV programmatic integration through to clean room-powered data collaboration. You will be the first APS/APC-dedicated resource in Japan, building publisher relationships in partnership with BD and technical credibility through STV supply onboarding while laying the foundation for APC adoption across the Japanese market.

You will report into the APC Customer Team and be embedded day-to-day within the broader JP Ads organization collaborating closely with the local Business Development teams. This role requires someone who can listen deeply, communicate Amazon's unique value with technical precision, and provide the consistent, consultative support that Japanese providers expect.

Key job responsibilities
Streaming TV Integration: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for JP providers, guiding them through APS programmatic setup including STV supply onboarding, server-side ad insertion (SSAI) integration, Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deal configuration, and real-time bidding (RTB) enablement to unlock Amazon demand for their streaming inventory.
Strategic Advisor: Build and maintain trusted relationships with key broadcaster stakeholders (product, engineering, ad ops, data teams), providing consistent and proactive communication. Serve as the consultative partner who listens, identifies needs, and coordinates internal resources to deliver solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the JP Amazon DSP (ADSP) team, Business Development, Product, and Engineering to coordinate broadcaster onboarding, resolve technical blockers, and provide field feedback that shapes product roadmap priorities. Participate in local team meetings and operate as part of the broader JP Ads team.
APC Enablement & Adoption: Once providers are integrated with APS, partner with ADSP BD to introduce and enable APC capabilities including planning (audience insights), activation (signal-based targeting on ADSP), and measurement — positioning Amazon's clean room technology as a differentiated value driver for publishers' upfront and direct sales efforts.
Knowledge Scaling: Create and maintain technical documentation, onboarding playbooks, and best practices tailored to the JP market, enabling the broader team to scale broadcaster engagement efficiently.
