Your New Role
CNN International Commercial is looking for a Senior Sales Coordinator / Sales Coordinator to support our Content Sales and Commercial Distribution business in South Korea.
This role serves as a key connection point between Korean clients and regional teams, supporting sales operations, commercial coordination, client relationships, contract administration, invoicing, and business growth initiatives across content sales and commercial distribution.
We welcome applications from candidates with varying levels of experience. Candidates with less direct industry experience but strong commercial curiosity, learning agility, stakeholder management capability, and transferable coordination experience may be considered at the Sales Coordinator level.
This position offers exposure to content licensing, media distribution, hospitality partnerships, commercial operations, and client relationship management within a leading international media organization.
Your Role Accountabilities
Support and coordinate day-to-day operational, administrative and client relationship activities for Korean broadcasters, content licensing partners, commercial distribution clients and hotel partners, serving as a key point of coordination between clients and internal teams.
Manage client requests and operational issues, ensuring effective communication, timely resolution, accurate tracking and ongoing stakeholder engagement across local and regional teams.
Support content sales and licensing activities by coordinating client requests, program schedules, information requirements and communication with regional teams, including the INS team in Atlanta.
Support commercial growth initiatives through market research, information gathering, opportunity identification and groundwork activities aimed at expanding broadcast, content sales and commercial distribution business.
Coordinate financial and administrative processes including invoicing, payment tracking, overdue payment follow-up and withholding tax (WHT) issue resolution in partnership with clients, hotel partners and internal finance teams.
Work closely with the Regional Director to support commercial distribution business development, including identifying opportunities, preparing commercial proposals and supporting presentations to prospective hotel and distribution partners.
Support cross-functional projects related to content sales, distribution and partnerships while providing regular updates on ongoing activities, key issues and operational status to ensure alignment across internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in sales coordination, commercial support, client services, partnerships, account coordination, hospitality, media operations, distribution support, or a related customer-facing function.
Strong Korean and English communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both local clients and regional or global stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience supporting contracts, invoicing, payment tracking, administrative processes, or client operations is advantageous.
Experience within media, broadcasting, content licensing, content distribution, hospitality, hotel partnerships, sponsorships, commercial operations, or related sectors is advantageous but not essential.
