As a Senior Product Owner at Micron Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence (SMAI) Planning & Innovation department, you will work with manufacturing, planning, engineering and global site teams to identify business opportunities, define solutions, and deliver digital products that improve operational performance and business results.

You will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate manufacturing challenges into practical, scalable solutions that improve wafer output, productivity, and operational efficiency across Micron’s global manufacturing network.

This role is expected to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, and AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, accelerate solution development, and deliver measurable business value.

Primary Responsibility

  • Partner with manufacturing, planning and engineering organizations to identify and prioritize opportunities that improve wafer output, productivity and capital efficiency.

  • Gather, analyze and translate business requirements into functional requirements, user stories and implementation plans.

  • Define solution scope, business requirements, success criteria and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Architects to develop, validate and deploy solutions into production.

  • Lead cross-functional projects from problem definition through solution deployment, business adoption and value realization.

  • Analyze operational data and business processes to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous optimization.

  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI and AI-assisted tools to improve decision making, automate workflows and accelerate solution delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics or related fields.

  • 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, planning, industrial engineering, operations, product ownership, analytics or digital transformation.

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and delivering business, analytics or digital solutions.

  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into product, system or analytics solutions.

  • Experience defining product requirements, prioritizing features and working with technical teams to deliver business solutions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex business and operational data.

  • Experience using AI-assisted tools, Generative AI or AI-enabled solutions to improve productivity, decision making or business outcomes.
