Job Description

The Senior Product Manager, US Consumer Credit (Benefits-as-a-Service Commercialization) is responsible for driving the implementation, commercialization, and ongoing management of consumer credit product features, benefits, and value-added services. The role partners across Product, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Digital, and external partners to deliver differentiated cardholder experiences, strengthen issuer relationships, and support revenue growth across the U.S. credit portfolio. The role also promotes the use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.

All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of consumer credit products, benefits, and partner programs.
  • Identify market opportunities through competitive analysis, consumer insights, and client feedback.
  • Develop product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for issuers and cardholders.
  • Manage strategic benefit and partner relationships, including onboarding, performance oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across Product, Digital, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Finance teams.
  • Develop executive-level communications, business cases, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor product performance, customer adoption, financial results, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Support annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and commercialization activities.
  • Lead or contribute to high-priority strategic initiatives, product launches, and innovation efforts.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Experience in roles such as product manager, product owner, or business process analyst,
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience in applying Agile principles across design, development, testing, and product management.
  • Experience in developing software capabilities to support sales, service, or customer relationship management functions.
  • Experience in multi-tasking, organizing, managing, and implementing complex projects directly or through supervision.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with systems, marketing, risk, compliance and sales teams.
  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and business case development skills.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation capabilities.
  • Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear client-facing narratives, materials and recommendations.
  • Experience working with external partners, issuers, or financial institutions preferred.


Information for US Applicants

For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $169,100 to $270,800 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
