Job Description

The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing, is responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, equipment, supplies, and commodity products to ensure timely delivery at specified locations. This role evaluates, selects, monitors, and maintains relationships with vendors, performing detailed analyses of purchasing needs, costs, and performance. The Senior Manager forecasts supply requirements, negotiates pricing, discounts, and contracts, and reviews and approves purchases within authorized limits. The position may participate in or lead contract negotiations and is responsible for recommending and approving procurement policies and procedures. Additionally, the Senior Manager monitors the cost, schedule, and performance of major subcontracts and coordinates purchasing activities across departments.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
• 6+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Category Management.

• Proven people leadership experience, including managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams

• Strong expertise across sourcing categories. Category management.

• Proven ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering savings, value creation, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
• Excellent analytical, commercial, and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and performance programs.
• Strong digital and AI fluency, including tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT.
