Your New Role
This role provides data and insights to Ad Sales and IAS teams across the APAC region, supporting regional sales Research & Insights, networks and programming decisions, and cross-functional collaboration, while managing the analytics, vendor and operational infrastructure that underpins commercial decision-making.
Scope & Scale
Reporting cadence: bi-weekly channel and content performance for Southeast Asia and Taiwan; monthly and quarterly channel performance across APAC.
Vendors managed: Nielsen, Kantar and IMDA for Southeast Asia and APAC, including contract lifecycle, budget and renewal management.
Functions supported: Ad Sales, IAS, Marketing, Content and Networks/Programming teams.
Tools and initiatives: process automation and AI tool testing, and dashboard migration to a new reporting platform.

Accountability
Accountable for the data and insights supporting APAC Ad Sales and IAS sales strategy and pitches.
Accountable for the accuracy and governance of bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
Accountable for vendor relationships, contracts and research budget across the region.
Accountable for operational excellence, including process automation and dashboard platform reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic regional support and collaboration: develop and support APAC sales strategy execution; supply linear ratings data, audience profiling/sizing and social/digital insights to IAS and Ad Sales; consolidate insights into sales pitch decks and topline market/channel decks; equip the Content team with channel and content performance for programming initiatives; mentor cross-functional teams on research knowledge and run training sessions; act as the primary liaison between local/regional teams and research functions.
Advanced data analytics and business intelligence: develop quantitative analytics models to forecast sales campaigns, content performance and audience behaviour; work with Ad Sales to optimize campaign performance and set network/Discovery+ targets; design and maintain regular reporting templates; conduct data governance and quality assurance checks on automated reports.
Content strategy and performance optimization: track and report the WBD content portfolio to ensure a balanced genre and format mix; initiate audience acquisition and retention strategies; identify and implement content monetization strategies based on audience segments and competitor performance.
Vendor and contract management: negotiate and manage research agencies including Nielsen, Kantar and IMDA; oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including budget determination, renewal and coordination with Legal and Procurement; keep stakeholders informed and maintain contract records.
Operational excellence and process optimization: identify and test process automation and AI tool opportunities; establish performance benchmarks and lead issue resolution; manage dashboard migration to a new platform, including stakeholder feedback, data validation and training.
