THE ROLE
AMD is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to support the Chief Strategy Officer and Corporate Strategy & Development leadership team. This role is ideal for a highly capable professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced executive environment and can seamlessly manage competing priorities, confidential information, and complex stakeholder interactions.
As a trusted partner to senior leadership, you will play a critical role in enabling the effectiveness of the Corporate Strategy organization. You will coordinate executive operations, manage high-profile meetings and events, facilitate interactions with internal and external stakeholders, and help ensure the organization runs efficiently across strategic planning, business development, partnerships, investments, and M&A-related activities.
This role requires exceptional judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating with senior executives, customers, investors, advisors, board-level audiences, and leaders across AMD. Please note the role will require work 5 days per week.
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate has extensive experience supporting C-suite or senior executive leaders in a highly visible corporate environment. You are proactive, resourceful, and able to navigate ambiguity with confidence. You excel at managing complex schedules, coordinating executive-level engagements, and building strong relationships across a broad network of internal and external stakeholders.
You possess excellent organizational and communication skills, maintain strict confidentiality, and demonstrate sound business judgment. You are comfortable balancing tactical execution with strategic prioritization and can shift seamlessly between day-to-day operational needs and high-impact executive initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a trusted partner to the Chief Strategy Officer and senior Corporate Strategy leaders, proactively managing priorities and enabling executive effectiveness.
- Own and manage complex executive calendars, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities while balancing internal leadership meetings, customer engagements, board-related activities, partner discussions, and executive travel.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries, logistics, and contingency planning.
- Manage executive expenses and ensure timely processing and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate executive staff meetings, leadership reviews, strategy offsites, customer visits, board preparation activities, and other high-profile events.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, investors, advisors, industry partners, executive assistants, and members of AMD's leadership team.
- Anticipate executive needs by identifying scheduling conflicts, prioritization challenges, and operational risks before they impact the business.
- Support meeting preparation through agenda coordination, logistics management, materials assembly, and follow-up tracking.
- Partner closely with executive assistants across the CEO Staff, AMD Executive Team, and key business units to coordinate leadership engagements and enterprise initiatives.
- Manage highly confidential information related to corporate strategy, business development, partnerships, investments, acquisitions, organizational planning, and executive communications.
- Support organizational operations including vendor management, purchase orders, budgets, contracts, invoice processing, and other business administration activities.
- Establish and maintain effective data and information management, and document retention practices.
- Help coordinate onboarding activities, workspace planning, equipment procurement, and administrative support for new team members.
- Drive execution of special projects and administrative initiatives that improve team effectiveness and operational efficiency.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Executive administrative experience supporting senior executives, preferably at the EVP or C-suite level.
- Demonstrated success supporting leaders in corporate strategy, business development, finance, investment banking, consulting, technology, or other high-intensity business environments.
- Experience managing highly complex calendars involving global stakeholders, executive leadership teams, customers, partners, and external advisors.
- Proven ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information while exercising exceptional judgment and discretion.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to interact professionally with senior leaders inside and outside the company.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience planning executive offsites, leadership meetings, customer engagements, and large-scale strategic events.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with SAP, Concur, purchasing processes, budget management, and vendor administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, solve problems proactively, and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive. Compensation: Expected salary range: USD 91,770.00 per year to USD 131,100.00 per year
