Senior Engineer, GDC, Lifecycle Management, Supply Chain Platform

Powered by Anthos, Google Distributed Cloud is designed for high-performance local data processing and low-latency workloads. It particularly addresses organizations with strict requirements regarding data sovereignty, residency, and privacy.
In this role, you will design intelligent workflows that manage everything from AI-optimized hardware ordering to zero-touch deployments and turn-up processes across Google Distributed Cloud's global fleet (both Air-gapped and Connected). You will evolve traditional infrastructure management into a smart, self-managing platform powered by autonomous AI agents.
US: $174000 - $252000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and document.
- Design systems and de-risk.
- Implement and test in Go and Python.
- Deploy and monitor.
- Engage cross-functionally with partner engineering teams like Supply Chain, New Product Introduction (NPI), Infrastructure, Operations, etc.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in Go, Python, C++ or Java.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience architecting database solutions for high-availability applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes (K8s) on cloud.
