As a Technology Consultant, you will deliver hands-on technical consulting on complex customer engagements across Microsoft Cloud and AI. You will design, build, and implement solutions that accelerate customer adoption and consumption, work closely with customer technical teams and Microsoft delivery leads, and contribute to reliable, on-time delivery. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Solution Architects, Pursuit Leads, and Consulting Account Executives, during the pre-sales process by understanding business requirements and providing industry and technical input that helps shape solution offerings, proposals, and statements of work.
  • Provide input on staffing and skill requirements for delivery, working with Resource Deployment, Technical Delivery Managers, and Project Managers, and follow the capacity process outlined by the Resource, Insights, Capacity, and Capability team by keeping skills and availability current.
  • Lead meetings with customers and partners to understand business needs, map requirements to the adoption and optimization of Microsoft technology solutions, and engage the right stakeholders to clarify customer requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Participate in project planning, develop project documents, identify risks and dependencies, communicate the business value of planned solutions, support steering committee preparation, manage your schedule with project leads, and generate and deliver work breakdown structures.
  • Implement solutions and provide oversight and leadership on workstreams across domains while adhering to Industry Solutions processes. Align solutions with the intent of the architecture, manage escalations, analyze situations, and coordinate appropriate resources to resolve issues while considering delivery practices, cost implications, and stakeholder needs.
  • Proactively manage executive-level customer, partner, and stakeholder relationships to identify drivers of satisfaction and dissatisfaction, determine root causes, establish recovery actions, support a One Microsoft approach with the account team, and share lessons learned with the workgroup and consultant community.
  • Act as an ambassador for intellectual property by leveraging, modifying, or creating repeatable content where applicable. Identify opportunities to expand or accelerate cloud and Microsoft technology adoption, support business development through clear value propositions, complete operational tasks accurately and on time, follow Microsoft policies and compliance requirements, and embody our culture and values.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND several years of leadership experience in a relevant area of business.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Business fluency in both German and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Several years of leadership experience in a relevant area of business.
  • Technical certifications based on domain or service line, such as Azure, Security, or Dynamics.
  • Delivery Management certification, such as Scrum, Agile, Change Management, or Project Management.

In line with our Flexible Work approach, for roles at Microsoft Germany, we recommend spending at least two days per week in the office or at the customer site.


Technology Consulting IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Germany is € 72,000.00 - € 122,300.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
