The Opportunity 

Global compensation is becoming more complex and more visible. As a Senior Compensation Program Manager focused on Pay Strategy and Compliance, you’ll serve as the strategic layer for Adobe’s Global Compensation Programs team. You’ll define how Adobe positions itself on pay equity globally, how we maintain a focused understanding of fast-moving pay transparency legislation across regions, and how we translate all of it into a compensation philosophy stays ahead of the market landscape. This role is designed for a compensation professional who is ready to infuse genuine strategic leadership into program ownership. 

This role is in the San Jose, CA office.

What You'll Do 

  • Lead the global pay equity framework at Adobe, working closely with Legal, Compliance, and Inclusive Experiences teams. Support execution and alignment to the EU Directive.  

  • Manage global pay equity reporting including US, Canada, and LATAM Gender Pay reporting and emerging external disclosure requirements  

  • Support pay-related investigations alongside Employee Relations and Legal — bringing compensation expertise to sensitive situations that require both analytical rigor and good judgment  

  • Lead the design and ongoing evolution of Adobe's recognition policy and Awardco program with the Rewards Operations team 

  • Track evolving compensation trends and peer benchmarking as market signals through networks and industry forums; synthesize insights into leadership-ready perspectives that inform program strategy before the market forces a reaction 

  • Provide compensation program expertise across the broader portfolio as business needs evolve, mentoring cross-program capability and knowledge depth that strengthens the team's ability to scale 

What You Need to Succeed 

  • 8+ years of progressive compensation experience, with meaningful exposure to equitable pay practices and global pay compliance  

  • Deep knowledge of pay equity and transparency frameworks across multiple regions  

  • Demonstrated ability to function as a strategic advisor — influencing senior leaders, crafting policy, and driving organizational change through compensation programs  

  • Strong executive communication skills 

  • Experience working across Legal, Finance, and HR leadership on sensitive, high-stakes compensation topics with discretion  

  • Proficiency with Workday and compensation analytics platforms; comfort with data visualization tools such as PowerBI  

  • Curiosity and familiarity with AI-assisted compensation tools and their application to pay equity analysis and program efficiency

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $102,800 -- $214,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

In California, the pay range for this position is $147,900 - $214,200


At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
