Do you get restless when you see a manual, repetitive process that could be done smarter? We are looking for a senior Business Analyst to help run the strategic planning engine behind a large technology organization, and to reinvent how that engine works using data and automation.

This is a build-and-own role, not a support seat. You will take ambiguous problems, decide what matters, design the solution, and drive it independently. Day to day, you will:

- Run our planning cycles end to end, coordinating inputs across many teams, surfacing the tradeoffs and risks leaders need to decide on, and making the process cleaner every time

- Set the standards for how teams work together, then automate them so things run consistently with less manual effort

- Build our tracking and analytics from the ground up, so leaders can see how goals are progressing and catch problems before they become misses

- Find the repetitive, administrative work in how we operate and replace it with AI-powered tools and workflows that save time for everyone

If you would rather be handed a hard question than a checklist, and you love turning messy, manual work into something that just runs, this role is built for you.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the planning cycle mechanism itself: the workback schedule, the input templates, the points of contact, and the consolidation into a single leadership-ready view of priorities, dependencies, and risks. You keep the trains running and redesign the tracks.

- Author the standards that other teams operate by (intake routes, folder structures, handoffs, triage criteria) and codify them into automated, self-serve mechanisms so the process no longer depends on someone remembering the steps.

- Define the metrics and data model behind goal tracking, partner with data owners to guarantee fidelity, and stand up the reporting that shows progress against plan and where valuation or validation gaps exist.

- Scope, prototype, and ship automation and AI-assisted tooling against the highest-friction recurring work, then measure the time it gives back to the team and our partners.

- Judge which decisions are reversible versus not, make the reversible ones yourself, and bring the rest forward with a clear recommendation and the tradeoffs laid out.

- Influence teams you do not manage to adopt shared standards and cadences, resolving competing priorities before they become blockers.

- Mentor others on analytical rigor and raise the quality bar for how the team turns data into decisions.

A day in the life
Your focus is understanding how all the pieces of a large organization fit together, and drawing the insights everyone else misses because they are heads-down on their own worlds.

The planning and coordination work puts a stream of inputs in front of you from teams across the org. The real value is what you do with it: connecting the dots between them, spotting the pattern or the risk no single team can see, and telling that story clearly enough to change what leaders decide. Along the way you make the process itself faster and cleaner so the picture keeps getting sharper.

You will spend real time influencing people who do not report to you, and you will have room to chase the insights that move the whole organization further than it would have gotten otherwise.

About the team
The "Strategic Planning & Initiatives" team is the connective tissue of a large technology organization. When other teams are heads-down on their own piece, we make sure the pieces add up: that plans line up, dependencies do not collide, and leaders get one clear read on where things stand.

Our mission is to free the delivery teams to focus on their customers by taking the coordination, planning, and reporting complexity off their plates. We care about substance over busywork, look for smarter ways to work (including AI), and value people who think independently and make everyone around them sharper.
